Filsuvez gel should be applied to the wound surface at a thickness of approximately 1 mm and covered by a sterile non-adhesive wound dressing or applied to the dressing so that the gel is in direct contact with the wound. The gel should be reapplied at each wound dressing change. Filsuvez when applied 1mm (0.04 inch) thick to the affected wound surface area is approximately the thickness of a credit card. Do not rub in the gel.

In the EASE Phase 3 trial, 41.3% of subjects in the Filsuvez arm (N=109) experienced complete closure of target wound within 45 days compared to 28.9% (N=114) in the placebo gel arm.

Filsuvez is supplied in sterile tubes for one-time use only. Once opened, the product is no longer sterile and should be used immediately and discarded after use.
